The price, plainly
We Were Here Tomorrow costs $19.99 for the standard edition. Regional pricing is confirmed at €19.99 and £16.99. A 10% launch discount is active now: $17.99 until November 3, 2026. These figures come from Total Mayhem Games' official announcement combined with a live store check on October 21, 2026. (The discounted euro and pound prices have not been independently verified — only the $17.99 figure was confirmed at the store.)
What two players actually have to buy
This is the buying question that matters most, and the answer is simple: each player needs their own copy. The game is two-player online co-op with no solo mode, and a single purchase does not cover both seats. Budget for two copies.
| Scenario | Cost at launch discount | Cost after Nov 3, 2026 |
|---|---|---|
| Two players, both buy during launch window | $17.99 × 2 = $35.98 | — |
| Two players, buying after the discount | — | $19.99 × 2 = $39.98 |
| One player already owns it | $17.99 for the partner | $19.99 for the partner |
Buy before November 3, 2026 and the pair saves $4.00. The discount is a launch offer, not a permanent price.
Cross-play is confirmed across Steam, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S (see the co-op setup guide), so the two copies do not need to be on the same platform. Buy on the storefront each player prefers.

Regional pricing notes
The confirmed storefront figures are $19.99 / €19.99 / £16.99 for the standard edition, with the launch discount verified at $17.99 on the US storefront. The discounted euro and pound equivalents have not been independently verified — regional storefronts sometimes round differently, so check your local store page before purchase rather than assuming a straight 10% conversion. Prices on console storefronts should track the same structure, but if you see a figure that differs from this page, the storefront is the authority.
Is there a demo or free trial?
There was. A surprise demo dropped on Steam on April 9, 2026, alongside the Triple-i showcase: the Norcek opening area with three co-op puzzles, available for one week only. It has since been delisted and cannot be downloaded or replayed. If you missed it, there is no way to try before you buy right now — see the demo recap for what it showed.
Value check: is it worth it?
Fifteen hours of co-op content (the developer figure — see How Long to Beat) at $19.99 works out to about $1.33 per hour per player, or roughly $0.67 per player-hour once you count that two people play each hour. Against the previous entry's 10–12 hours, Tomorrow is the longest game in the series by the developers' own numbers. Whether that is worth it to you depends on how much you value asymmetric co-op — but on a per-hour basis, it sits comfortably in the normal range for the genre.
